Tim Ward

Tim Ward composes acousmatic and soundscape works designed for performance via experimental sound diffusion systems (so-called ‘loudspeaker orchestras’). He also performs improvised pieces using real-time digital sound processing systems.

Tim completed a PhD in musical composition at the University of York, UK, where he was a founder member of the innovative performance group Nerve8. He then taught music at a wide range of UK universities before moving to live in Athens, Greece.
