SUMMER PERIOD
The series of lectures and seminars taught during the month of July comprise the third part of the taught Masters’ course Sonic Arts and Technologies.
These modules are designed, so as to complement and delve in the issues and topics of the postgraduate programme’s syllabus. Guest international lecturers of high calibre will ensure the exceptional quality of the seminars.
The summer program functions in conjunction to and in parallel with the Summer Academy of Music, organized by the Department and offers the chance to students as well as composers, researchers, educators from the greater public to explore issues relevant to Electroacoustic Music and music information technology.
A fee is charged for enrolment and special rates apply to post and undergraduate students.
Seminars are taught in English.
During the summer period, a number of presentations of research issues will also be held, as well as concerts of electroacoustic music composed by the university’s postgraduate students and guests.
