AKOYSMATA 2022

AKOYSMATA, ειναι το σύνολο των εκδηλώσεων που παρουσιάζει κάθε χρόνο το Εργαστήριο Ηλεκτροακουστικής Μουσικής Έρευνας και Εφαρμογών [ΕΡΗΜΕΕ] σε συνεργασία με το Εργαστήριο Παραστατικών Περιβαλλόντων στις Τέχνες [PEARL] στο Φεστιβάλ Οπτικοακουστικών Τεχνών του Τμήματος Τεχνών Ήχου και Εικόνας του Ιονίου Πανεπιστημίου.

Οι εκδηλώσεις ξεκινούν την Τρίτη 31 Μαΐου και ολοκληρώνονται την Κυριακή 5 Ιουνίου.
και είναι μέρος των επετειακών εκδηλώσεων για τα 30 χρόνια του Τμήματος Μουσικών Σπουδών.

Στα AKOYSMATA 2022 θα παρουσιαστούν επτά συναυλίες ακουσματικής μουσικής στην Ιόνιο Ακαδημία, τέσσερις συναυλίες ζωντανής ηλεκτροακουστικής μουσικής στο ΠΟΛΥΤΕΧΝΟ, ηχητικές και άλλες εγκαταστάσεις στο Φουαγιέ της Ιόνιας Ακαδημίας, στο Τμήμα Τεχνών Ηχου και Εικόνας στο Παλαιό Ψυχιατρείο, και στο Μον Ρεπό. Το πρόγραμμα αυτό συνοδεύεται από ένα πλούσιο πρόγραμμα εργαστήριων και σεμιναρίων.

Φέτος έχουμε την χαρά να φιλοξενούμε τον Αυστριακό συνθέτη ακουσματικής μουσικής Thomas Gorbach, δημιουργό του Vienna Acousmonium και τον Ισπανό ερευνητή διαδραστικής ηχητικής τέχνης Enrique Tomás. Στις εκδηλώσεις συμμετέχουν ακόμα η Brona Martin, καθώς και οι Γιώργος Μιζήθρας, Γιώργος Σταυρίδης, ο Φάνης Μαραγκός, η Agnese Banti και ο Δημήτρης Σάββα. Επίσης στις συναυλίες ακουσματικής μουσικής θυμόμαστε με δύο χαρακτηριστικά έργα τους δύο πρωτεργάτες της ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής στην Ελλάδα αλλά και του Τμήματος Μουσικών Σπουδών του Ιονίου Πανεπιστημίου, τον Μιχάλη Αδάμη και τον Χάρη Ξανθουδάκη.

AKOYSMATA, is the general title for the series of events presented every year by the Laboratory of Electroacoustic Music Research and Applications [EPHMEE] in collaboration with the Laboratory of Performing Arts in Arts [PEARL] of the Faculty of Music and Audiovisual Arts of the Ionian University.

The events begin on Tuesday, May 31 and end on Sunday, June 5.

AKOYSMATA 2022 is including seven concerts of acousmatic music at the Ionian Academy, four concerts of live electroacoustic music at POLYTECHNO, sound and other installations at the Foyer of the Ionian Academy, at the Department of Sound and Visual Arts, and site specific interactive installation in the garden of Mon Repos and is accompanied by a rich program of workshops and seminars.

We have the pleasure of having with us the Austrian composer Thomas Gorbach, creator of the Vienna Acousmonium and the Spanish interactive-sound-art researcher and composer Enrique Tomás. We are also very happy to have with us Brona Martin, Simon Smith, Giorgos Mizithras, Giorgos Stavridis, Fanis Maragos, Agnese Banti and Dimitris Savva.

This year we celebrate 30 years of the Department of Music Studies. In the “composers from Ionian University” concerts we remember two characteristic works of the two pioneers of electronic music in Greece, Michalis Adamis (1929-2013) and Haris Xanthoudakis professor emeritus of this Department. Their work has been essential for the creation and the development of this Department as well as for the evolution of electronic music in it.
