Abstract.

This research aims to improve the cybersecurity learning process, by stressing the need for examining the particular characteristics and motivations of participants of cybersecurity education/training pro-grams. We highlight the importance of user profiling in the cybersecurity educational process and particularly the necessity for well-structured user models to support the profiling process. Further-more, we propose and implement a user profiling module for platforms which conduct adaptive educa-tional programs in cybersecurity, considering the specific participants’ skillset.
